An evening filled with community building, fundraising for a great cause and delicious food, all whilst surrounded by luscious fields of lavender – it just doesn’t get much better than that! This elegant Woodinville Lavender dinner party perfectly executed by BreeAnn Gale of Pink Blossom Events, gathered together local community in Redmond, Washington to raise awareness and funds for an amazing cause: Farms for Life. This important non-profit organization links local farms with agencies who serve people in need of healthy food and who may not otherwise have access to it. Photographer, Katie Parra captures the essence of this event so vividly, we can almost smell the lavender!
From BreeAnn:
“I was first approached by Tom, the owner of Woodinville Lavender, as he was hoping to have a professionally styled event at his new venue. Knowing what beautiful photography Katie Parra does, I knew she would be the perfect person to capture this. Katie was not only the perfect photographer for this event but also wonderful in collaborating ideas with as we set forth. Our vision was to incorporate the lavender elements surrounding the venue but also pulling in some soft summer hues and terra cotta to bring together the natural landscape of the area. What started as an inspirational shoot soon transpired to one unforgettable farm dinner at Woodinville Lavender all benefiting a local charity.”
Pro tip:
Simple is better. Choose a small handful of elements and ideas you want to include in the event/evening and not every idea you’ve been wanting to do at once. There are always more entertaining opportunities in the future but incorporating just a few ideas into one event at a time will give you a focus and direction of the event. BreeAnn Gale
Beautiful floral design by Fena Flowers and menu & place cards by Sally of La Happy.
Exquisite food made by Kaspars Special Events & Catering with farm fresh produce from The Root Connection.
Music by the talented Brian Lee of Brian Lee & the Orbiters created a convivial ambiance for the evening.
We are reminded once again of the generosity of our community. Cheers to a successful fundraising event! BreeAnn Gale
