“We love the concept of surprising your best girlfriends by asking them to stand beside you on your wedding day, says Alyssa of Ginger and Blooms. Cute ways to ‘pop the question’ have become trendy lately, but we wanted to take this element of surprise to the next level! With the holiday season quickly approaching, we thought it would be such a fun concept for a bride to throw a Christmas party for her closest girlfriends and surprise them at the party with Christmas gifts asking them to be her bridesmaids! Our ‘A Very Girly Christmas’ shoot was filled with the most girly, Christmassy details. From the hand lettered bridesmaid ornaments with velvet pink ribbon, to a girly floral Christmas tree and sparkly gold stockings, this party wasn’t just adorable, it was filled with the most meaningful details that any bride would love to spoil her best friends with!”

Throwing a holiday gathering, but don’t have space for a tree? Or perhaps you are nontraditional and want to opt for something more distinctive? This beautiful floral wall Christmas tree is a fun and creative alternative! Grab some gold tape, pick out flowers and botanicals of your liking, turn on some holiday tunes, and let your walls be your canvas.

Gift wrap is a fun way to carry out your party theme. Mismatching the paper on the lids and containers of your gift boxes will give them that extra pop.

During the colder seasons, a hot beverage station is a must at gatherings. Including garnishes like peppermint and cinnamon sticks is sure to be a crowd-pleaser.

Meet the Designers Alyssa Gable of Ginger & Blooms
Bio:

With a technical/engineering background, I’m the organizational brain behind G&B. I completely fell in love with the wedding industry while planning my own wedding to my highschool sweetheart in January 2015. I took a leap of faith and launched my own planning business, Lovely & Bubbly Events, in April 2015 – just 3 months after getting married!

While working as a planner, I met Lauren and we started collaborating on workshops, shoots and weddings! I was OBSESSED with her blooms, so obsessed – joining together was such a natural fit for us! My favorite aspect of wedding planning is definitely the design. I love using a couple’s unique love story as inspiration for wedding day details.

… both with a LOVE of weddings, Alyssa and Lauren joined forces to bring brides the most cohesive wedding design and planning experience there is. We aim to use our experience in both PLANNING AND FLORALS to design and coordinate a wedding that is perfectly tailored to you and your groom. We know how important flowers are to your wedding design, and that’s why we offer our brides the full G&B experience to ensure that your wedding day is cohesive and a true reflection of your UNIQUE LOVE STORY.
