If you are hosting this holiday season and in need of tablescape inspiration, look no further! Principal planner Amy Kuchta of LVL Weddings & Events has you covered with this gorgeous apothecary style holiday table. Lush greenery paired with small vintage bottles, brass candlesticks and apothecary jars give this table a classic antique look that will never go out of style. With over 10 years of experience in the event and hospitality industry, Amy knows what she’s talking about when it comes to styling your space for the holidays. And lucky for us, she has shared her favorite ways to decorate her home during this festive season…
“I love being a part of a dynamic and super talented team of planners & coordinators. We all share the same passion and end result – happy clients. And we all have our own unique personal style that compliments each other. In order to distinguish our different styles and show a bit of our personality, we were instructed to take part in a design challenge. There weren’t any rules except that we had to make it happen in our conference room. I wanted to do something different, so to get inspiration I thought of some of my favorite things. My favorite color is green, so I decided that I was going to create a design full of greens!”
“The statement piece was the gorgeous greenery table runner created by Floral Occasions.”
“Growing up, my mom always had beautiful ferns hanging from our patio and my grandfather had this eclectic collection of old bottles so both of these were important in creating my vision. I wanted to show a design void of florals but still lush and clean. By incorporating browns, golds and natural hues it allowed me to bring in some warmth to this lush fern inspired shoot.”
The single sprig of fern adds a simple elegant finishing touch to the placesettings.
“I love design that is clean, crisp and infused with some personal items to make it feel cozy. I love live plants and feel that my personal style is very classic & modern.”
Amy’s Favorite Ways to Decorate for the Holidays:
- Accent Pillows: I love finding cute holiday pillows to accent my couch. Think sequins, metals or even a cute holiday plaid.
- Lots of Greenery: Since I am obsessed with green plants, I find seasonal holiday plants and garlands to put around the house. The smell and look of all of the greenery puts me in the holiday spirit.
- Essential Oils: I have just recently started loving essential oils so I have a christmas scent or peppermint aroma that gives me an extra boost of positivety.
- Mantle Decor: I have a fireplace so I love to decorate the mantle with lots of holiday candles and garland. I always have fire logs on hand that make the house feel cozy and festive!
