Whether you’re entertaining this holiday season or just looking for some decor ideas, these 2 different takes on mantle and tablescape design are sure to inspire! Using winter foliage and accent flowers from AFloral, Floral and Event Designer Audrey Chaney of Botanica Events beautifully created a contemporary and a rustic option that are both majorly swoon-worthy!
“The holidays are my favorite time of the year – entertaining, baking, spending time with family and friends”, says Audrey. And – the decor! Who doesn’t love decking their home out and making it super cozy? Getting to work with some of the new Winter-inspired foliages and accent pieces from AFloral’s collection surely brought the Winter spirit into my home.
“To dress up the mantle, I chose mixed elements of wood candleholders I placed blooms in, metallic votives and geometric vessels with magnolia blooms. The pinecone wreath was easy to dress up with more white magnolia, flocked branches and metallic leaves. Simple and stunning!”
“It can be so simple to create a beautiful table centerpiece mixing foliages, metallic candles and a few blooms! I created this look by layering foliage and flowers – working around placesettings. Adding candles to your table design always adds some movement and flickering candlelight. The perfect finishing touch!”
“Each place setting was garnished with a sprig of cedar to make the place setting extra special!”
“Mixing the look up, the mantle was transformed with an all foliage garland, tin accents and antlers for a more rustic look. For the table setting on this look, things were kept simple – foliages and textures with the fur pointsettias and white berries with pinecone accents.”
“A natural swag was a fun addition to the chair back for an interesting touch.”
Imagine if you dressed up each of your guests chairs, and they got to each take a swag home with them from your holiday party? Love it! Audrey Chaney
